KY Mother Thrilled at Genetic Protection Law
CECILIA, KY—Heidi Williams is thrilled by the Senate’s passing of the Genetic Information Non-Discrimination Act (GINA). The bill is expected to pass the House this week and be signed into law by the President.
“I’m overjoyed for one thing,’’ she said. “…It has been a long fight and I came in the middle of it. There have been a lot of people who have fought long and hard for this.’’
