United Way participants need only write on the United Way Payroll Deduction Form: “Alpha-1 Foundation” as “other designees.”
Combined Federal Campaign and Other Workplace Giving Campaigns
A gift to the Alpha-1 Foundation may be through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) by specifying Code 11717. The CFC is a workplace giving program for postal workers, court employees, military, FBI, DEA, and IRS. The form identifies Code 11717 as Medical Research Charities of America, the Foundation is permitted to enter the CFC through this organization. Code 11717 ensures that the donations go to the Foundation.
As a member of Medical Research Charities (MRC), formerly Medical Research Agencies of America, the Foundation has fulfilled specific criteria for membership, including a stringent legal and financial review. For more information, visit http://www.medicalresearchcharities.org.
